Nutrición in Clinical Practice

While richly rewarding, writing the first edition of Nutrition in Clinical Practice was, I confess, fairly painful and rather arduous. I had both expected and hoped that a second edition, requiring only an update to material already compiled, would be less of both. I was wrong, although I don't consider that cause to complain. I have not kept score per se, but my impression is that there is as much new scientific literature addressing topics in nutrition since I wrote the first edition of this book as there was total literature when I did so. The medical literature grows at an ever-accelerating pace. Trying to keep up with its relentless expansion invites sympathies for Sisyphus!.
